# Staking and Revenue Benefits

**Staking** allows token holders to lock their Lukas Tokens in a smart contract for a defined period. Stakers become part of Aca Lukas’s career.

#### **The mechanism operates as follows:**

{% hint style="info" %}

* **Stake tokens:** Active fans stake their tokens in a staking contract. Tokens remain locked for a defined epoch and can be withdrawn once the period ends.
* **Participate in events:** The project organises **12 events per year** - concerts, festivals or exclusive gatherings. Some revenue profits from ticket and beverage sales are used for rewards to incentivize further engagement and staking.
* The project has allocated **20%** of the total supply (200 million tokens) for staking incentives.
  {% endhint %}
